While there are many great products at varying price ranges on the shelves, the following few are my enduring favourites for many reasons, but mostly because I trust the folk behind these brands implicitly and know that my skin is getting what it needs. Some of the below tick all the natural, organic boxes, while others are more results-driven cosmeceuticals, but all use top quality ingredients and really do care for our fragile environment, while also delivering as promised.

Tri Dosha // Skincare

This beautifully natural brand is the brain child of Sunita Passi, an Ayurvedic expert and true visionary who uses only the best  nourishing, indigenous plant-derived Ayurvedic ingredients. I am a big fan of India’s traditional healing system Ayurveda and so naturally, love this range.

Biologique Recherche // Skincare

This cult French brand is older than myself and continues to gain traction within the global beauty industry. While the packaging remains clinical, the ingredients are consistently top quality and the extensive range of products works on all skin types, whatever the season.

Slow Ageing Essentials // Skincare

My middle years skin loves this beautifully ethical brand - all of the products work but the exfoliating skin polish leaves my skin super clean & singing with orange and patchouli freshness. And the rest of the range is fab too!

Cloon Keen Atelier // Candles

My absolute favourite candles are the divine multi-award winning Cloon Keen Atelier from my hometown of Galway on Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way. Something truly magical about what Margaret Mangan creates and I know they will not disappoint.

African Botanics // Skincare

Natural, ethical and divine, this cult African-born and US-based brand is an all-round winner. All of the products within the range are overflowing with indigenous African plant actives and deliver as promised. They smell and feel divine on my skin, leaving it soft and deeply nourished.

Dr. Barbara Sturm // Skincare

My skin laps up every particle of these products that hydrate, protect and regenerate my skin. The skincare line deploys the anti-ageing ingredient Purslane, also called the “fountain of youth drug”. These skincare products truly are world-class and deliver maximum results.

Rachel Vosper is a leading British candle chandler and home fragrance expert, specialising in hand-poured candles and signature home fragrances. I adore her bespoke candles and recommend their divine fragrance for any home.
